Reason for the Season

So happy New Year y'all! First of all, I'd like to apologize for the dreadfully cheesy title. But it just kind of works. I was thinking, just now, that although everyone freaks out and make a huge deal out of it now being 2015, the only thing that actually changed is the date (like it does every day) and possibly your attitude. So why do people act like it's so amazing? I think for some people, especially those who don't know the real reason for the holiday season, they are attempting to fill a hole inside them. Where this absence came from is irrelevant. The answer is always the same: Jesus! If you follow him, love him, and trust in his power to forgive your sins, you will find what you're looking for. And hey, if you have a problem with that, then just don't read the blog or agree to disagree. [A very late] blessed Christmas and joyful New Year!

The Logical Process of of Titling

So I thought it'd be good to explain the title of this blog. It was originally an idea for a band name (BTW, I still plan on using it if I ever start a band), but here's the thing. As I was racking my poor brain (for the gazzillionth time that day) this time to figure out a name for my blog, I thought of something my lovely cousin once pointed out. No word rhymes with orange. Think about it. Seriously. It's exhaustingly immposible to counter. So, that seemed rather fitting since there is also no good way to describe this blog in a [reasonably good and catchy] title. Ya know, because "the blog with no particular theme or purpose that never gets any new posts that's also written by some random chick" isn't very creative. Or title-y. And it's probably hard to remember. Plus it's too long. So Rhymes with Orange was simply the most logical solution. At least, until it evolves into something more identifiable. I'm sure it will. Most likely it will end up as a dead strand in the World Wide Web, but for now, it remains. So also shall the title.

UPDATE: I do realize that "existent" is spelled wrong in the web address, but that was the only spelling available!
